You might find this brie baker to be one of the most versatile dishes in your kitchen. Not only can you bake and serve brie right in the same dish (the stoneware will keep the brie warm and easy to serve), but it is wonderful for so many other uses! The baker may be used warm for baked dips and appetizers or chilled for hummus or other cold recipes. It is even handy for a small serving of warm veggies!
The baker is wheel thrown in my studio from brown speckled clay. It is glazed in a deep firebrick glaze with a mottled bluish gray overglaze. All of my glazes are lead-free and food-safe.
The dish is dishwasher and microwave safe. To be oven safe, place the dish and contents in a cold oven and then start the oven. Do not preheat the oven.
