You might find this brie baker to be one of the most versatile dishes in your kitchen.  Not only can you bake and serve brie right in the same dish (the stoneware will keep the brie warm and easy to serve), but it is wonderful for so many other uses!  The baker may be used warm for baked dips and appetizers or chilled for hummus or other cold recipes.  It is even handy for a small serving of warm veggies!
 
The baker is wheel thrown in my studio from brown clay. It is glazed in black and snow glazes with a scalloped rim.  The snow glaze allows the speckles in the clay to show through.   This is NOT a pure white glaze.
 
The brie baker is dishwasher and microwave safe. To be oven safe, place the baker in a cold oven and then start the oven. Do not preheat the oven.
 
A beautiful 7 inch olive wood spreader is included with your purchase! The olive wood spreader should be hand washed only and dried thoroughly. A light wipe of food safe mineral oil/beeswax can be used to restore the wood to its original luster.  Also included is a baked brie recipe card to complete the gift set.
