This little brown sugar keeper is perfect to keep your brown sugar soft, and it will even soften rock hard brown sugar! The brown sugar keeper comes in a cute gift bag with instructions. Perfect as a small stocking stuffer or as a small gift for a coworker! There is a dragonfly design hand imprinted on the disc.
For brown sugar: Soak the sugar keeper in water for 15-20 minutes. Shake off excess and seal the keeper and your sugar together in an air tight container / zip lock bag. It will keep your sugar soft and moist, and it will even re-hydrate rock hard sugar! Re-moisten the disk every few months for best results. It can also be used to keep dried fruit moist and fresh.
For essential oil: Add a few drops of your favorite essential oil to the pottery, and place it in the bathroom, bedroom, car, suitcase, etc. Enjoy the aromatherapy! Do not use the piece for brown sugar once it has been used with essential oil.
Each sugar keeper/ oil diffuser is handmade in my studio from stoneware clay and fired to 1965° Fahrenheit. It is not glazed so that it retains maximum absorbency. It is approximately 3-1/2 inches in diameter and 1/4 inch thick.
