This wide, shallow blate is part bowl, part plate, and is the perfect size for your pasta, veggies, salads, or any other one dish meals! The blate is great for popping individual servings in the microwave. The versatile size will have you finding many uses for a blate in the kitchen!
The blate was created by me on the pottery wheel in my studio. It is glazed with lead-free, food safe glaze. The vanilla spice glaze allows the speckles in the clay to show through and has brown highlights around the texture. The rim is glazed in a flowing bluish gray glaze.
