This beautiful stoneware soup mug is perfect for your soup, stew, or chili, but you will find yourself using it for your cereal, ice cream, and lattes, too! The soup mug is safe for the microwave or oven (just do not put a cold mug into a preheated oven -- place it in a cold oven, then turn the oven on). When you're finished enjoying the bowl, just pop it into the dishwasher to clean up!
The mug is formulated with speckled brown clay and is fired in my studio. The mug is glazed in a food-safe, lead-free rustic blue glaze with a flowing rim. The rustic blue glaze has brown tones around the texture and allows the speckles in the clay to show through.
